No caravans to bureaucratic order not to lose confidence in charities
In this period, before the tax return, request more insistent that everyone is receiving the donation of 5 x one thousand associations, sometimes local and international non-profit and often "profit." Frequently then, we are encouraged to make contributions to charities, real or fake, by a large amount bulletins that we receive in the mail box of our homes. Coupons already compiled and ready to pay donations for starving children in Africa, for those deaf or Italian for those orphans who live in Eastern Europe supported by voluntary associations. Commendable job, why, when they carry out for purposes of pure solidarity, at least questionable if done with different purposes. In any case we will take these calls daily with an action that, after years of routine movements of this kind, made without thinking twice, has become ritual. The danger is that these gestures are considered routine, to the indifference of everyday life, actions similar to those that are made by pouring in the offering basket during Sunday mass or donating it to the unfortunate placed at the traffic lights. Gestures made, often without giving due weight to what it really involves the action we are going to do, what our contribution, although modest, results for the lives of some people. But pausing to read and understand the messages we receive in the mailbox by these unions of volunteers, the vast majority of us are affected in human sensitivity by the words and dramatic pictures that these are really unfortunate, but with the suspicion of 'deception and hope that this money really come to the unfortunate children depicted, is willing to risk their sum payable and shall ensure that their charity reaches its destination. The doubt is that most of the time this money will serve mainly to keep up expensive facilities rather than making things easier for children to play together in the images we receive bulletins. Therefore we believe that in this area have been done in a tangible and strict regulation, which ensures that people in good faith to decide to donate even small contributions to the association really engaged in social work. Without surprises. Why come to discover that their money was spent exclusively, as sometimes happens, to keep up caravans bureaucratic acts only to ostentation of their Heads would lose, in addition to money, especially confidence in the whole volunteer system.

Vesuvius asleep Naples and New
Eyjafjallajökull The Icelandic volcano, almost unpronounceable name, has lost 80 percent of its strength since the beginning of the eruption, and this bodes well at least on the future of air transport. However, this event impetuous, now ultimately will lead our thinking to an Italian volcano, Vesuvius, which last erupted in 1944. The very thought that Naples may awaken the volcano gives us a feeling of fear and anxiety, because in this case the problem is not the limitation or suspension of air traffic but the safety of residents near Vesuvius. The volcano in Naples, now in a "state of activity influenced by closed conduit" (as they say technically it contains when the magma has cooled solidifying), appears in a state of apparent calm, but his condition, according to leading experts and national International volcanology, which met in Italy last year at Naples and Catania for a joint summit in video conferencing, why not let me sleep soundly the risk of a violent eruption is real and that sleep can stop at any moment. Considering that the people who crowd the Vesuvius area are tens of thousands and volcanologists say that the eruption may also be advanced by earthquakes of magnitude 5, is to reflect the assumption of a system in other territories of all these people who daily risk their lives, in some cases, even unconsciously. You can not always act in fact occurred, it would be appropriate in this particular case, move in time. As science helps, and can often save lives, it would be useful at this historic moment to think of a building plan for a New Naples. A new city, "adjacent" to the historical, that would allow all those families who live near the volcano, and many others who live in the capital of Campania in difficult circumstances, they can be housed in a place protected from any of a new eruption and to hope for a safer future and a life worthy of the history of this wonderful city.

pointed ends to make the premier
Speaker of the House, Gianfranco Fini, risking everything. The hope of the former leader of AN would be to return to the polls by the end of the year the challenge with Berlusconi. The idea seems to be to pursue the objective of forming, together with two centrist Rutelli and Casini and most likely to Montezemolo, a new party that would arise in the coming months. Then there would be with the left, secured the good will of the Quirinale, in order to reach the final goal desired: Prime Minister of a coalition that would start from the centrist Vendola. This would, according to rumors from the Chamber of Deputies, the probable cause of the break with the PDL, which would stand to make. Purposes at once pass from ex-fascist leader of the coalition of center-left and anti-fascist hero. Brilliant. However, the strategy seems likely suicide why would Gianfranco Fini, if successful, to govern for only a few months, as happened to Prodi in the previous legislature because of the continual bickering inside the coalition headed by him and, at worst, with a possible defeat, the total disappearance the political dispute. Sighted.

Gay, the difference is not that different
The fear of difference has always been a gripe of the Italian population, especially in older women. Today of course it is for some senior echelons of the Church. The output of Cardinal Bertone, that there would be a link between homosexuality and pedophilia, is simply nonsense because it can not be shared without any scientific foundation. Entered for a decade now in the third millennium is the time to face reality and accept the changes in sexual behavior, even by those Italians who live with idiosyncrasy. Homosexuality live freely, without ostentation free, is a right for those who want to live it as it is a duty of those who legislate to give them equal dignity and protect them from violence, even verbal. What is not tolerable and exhibitionism, whether homosexual or heterosexual. This behavior is not tolerable, especially in public parks or in front of schools, because it could mislead minds, such as children, not yet fully developed, and often only open to challenging views. So we can not be implemented as the gay marriage, a stretch for a relationship that can live peacefully without stamps and stamps. Different, according to some, would be extra, man or woman of color, handicapped or homosexuality but none of these people, the essence of man is different from the others. The gay, for this type of culture archaic, it's different for excellence, most of the other person suffers fierce criticism, immorality, disease or even to the danger. The homosexual is discrimination and marginalization even if only perceived as such. This is intolerable. This difference is not who is considered that those who feel "normal" but who can not live otherwise homophobia.

first change the electoral law and then reform the state, even with the fiscal federalism
presidentialism French, American, the German chancellorship, model Italian, all offering different models presidential but nobody bothers to say that today the current electoral law is inadequate for the general elections to a democratic system like ours. Candidates who today "are" in the parliament, elected by the current electoral law, were chosen directly by the party secretaries and not by the people. This is unacceptable. A democracy is that if the population has the possibility to choose their own representative, Congressman to whom she feels closest politically. The link between citizens and institutions. An MP after being elected, should remember that its mandate is aimed the help of his constituents and to solve their problems for which it has agreed to take in the election campaign and do not disappear when the elections were conducted and he was elected. Therefore, the possibility of choice, basic cornerstone of democracy so far failed, it is essential that you restore. Who is not elected by the people is likely to be indifferent to bond with the city while it is clearly linked to the ruling party that has rewarded him. In this way may be less involvement of the Member himself to political base and citizens, and is inevitably exacerbated the upward transport, with a notable lack of services in colleges (areas) where the politician is voted. Why they are often given for candidates from other regions, other parts of the country and then with utter lack of knowledge of the territory. Therefore, together with the reform of the state, it is necessary to reform the electoral law for political consultations with the preference voting, so you choose your policy reference that can later also due charges, denial of responsibility or program presented behavior does not fit your request, not just honors. Another way, easier to just meet the elected parliamentary terms with one man who could bring in someone who can guess but it could also make mistakes and, in this case, the damage would weigh particularly on the Citizenship of the elect and not only on his godfather. If the sovereign people should be able to decide whom to entrust your preference as well as what services it should receive in pay in taxes and therefore, together with the other two, it would be desirable to also reform the federal state that would allow regions to provide better services operating citizens and less efficient to send home the political drones.

Radical-chic or the populace?
The first has become the definition par excellence for those intellectuals, usually the left, who consider themselves to be especially politically better than others showing off with their arrogant attitude, the alleged superiority. The term was coined in 1970 by the American journalist Tom Wolfe to define the audience and the promoters of a concert, of course chic, led by the pianist Leonard Bernstein. Subsequently the term "radical chic" was revived in Italy by our Indro Montanelli in an article, "Letter to Camilla" (Cederna), published by the Corriere della Sera, March 21, 1972. But the second definition, "common people" is often used to describe people more hardy, more genuine than that, according to the former, differ little for the culture and living in the countryside or in the valleys of the north. The "representations" of the two groups are opposed today more than ever, because the "educated" define "common people", or even rude disparagingly, voters and women voters who voted for the League at the last regional elections, have given added strength to the party Bossi. In any event in this historical period the "clash" is heard. However one can not generalize, because if it is true that the radical-chic is full left, the last of this particular caste of political intellectuals, or alleged such, if they also see to the right, as we see characters left common people, more and more crude if not peasants. But anyway if you fill it is synonymous with being a worker, the genuine person, a real person and therefore trusted, then we too feel so. Because if being a person of culture is to lose its essence ethics up to be arrogant, conceited and snobbish then it is better to be rude but genuine. But it would be nice if instead of getting lost in the national political demagogic rants and offense on the levels of culture and the sexual habits of either one were to compare only on social issues relevant to the citizen and on concrete proposals for the needy, maybe for once unanimously.

"You seek Jesus of Nazareth was crucified. He is risen, is not here"
Voices of the Spirit of
between Frisina
"You seek Jesus of Nazareth was crucified. He is risen, is not here" (Mk 16.6 ). These are the words that God's messenger, robed in light directed at women who came to the tomb to embalm, as was the custom, the body of Jesus story of Jesus and then continues. He was not closed in the grave, not a character from the past but the living, walking ahead of us and calls us to follow him to raise us with Him down from the Mount of Transfiguration, if you remember, the disciples asked Jesus what he meant when he mentioned "rising from the dead" (Mark 9, 10). And that is the question we ask ourselves: "What does raise? What does raise for us today, for history, for the world? ". The resurrection of Christ is a totally new dimension that the course of history and life in all its developments has never had before Jesus But what happened there to the grave? There is only one certainty in the midst of many questions: Jesus is not there anymore. And how did this happen? Reflecting, in fact, it is inconceivable that the author of life would remain a prisoner of what is not life. Here then we can get that, just a little, calling it the great mystery of the resurrection as a "huge explosion of light," an explosion of love that can destroy even the hardest stone and resilient. The resurrection of Jesus has opened a new dimension of being and life in this dimension and there is no place for the material from which emerges a new world. This event does not remain rooted in the past, it is not any miracle is intended to occupy the rooms of our indifference. It is a real breakthrough towards a new life, towards a new world which, starting from Christ, constantly affects our reality, transforms it and drew him. How? The answer is very simple and yet surprising, this event comes to me through faith and Baptism. And in Baptism, Christ comes to me to grab me and draw me to himself. So baptism goes far beyond a mere "ecclesial socialization" of a lavender, a purification, it is really my death and my resurrection, my rebirth, transformation of my being in a new life. St. Paul in Galatians summarizes: "It is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me" (Gal 2, 20). The resurrection, therefore, is not passed, the Resurrection has reached us and seized us. It is a living person, true, Jesus of Nazareth that keeps us firmly to him even if our hands are weakened by the violence, power, corruption, and finally sin. "I live, ye shall live," says Jesus to his disciples in the Gospel of John (14, 19), and today that together with our Easter celebriamola He repeats it to all of us. Live in him, however, involves commitments: to implement the wonderful experience of communion between us and welcome with kindness, especially today, the gift of suffering, any kind of suffering. There is no Easter without Good Friday, so says an old proverb. And it is true, the cross is a source of winning a trophy that anticipates our joy to live with the pain and live-in-suffering to us makes you want to delete like Jesus at all costs the suffering of our life is not yearning for the resurrection. And who among us would not rise again, who among us would not want to defeat the precariousness of our condition? Let's get in the shoes of the apostles, in the role of Mary and who had not ceased to hope. Immediately we realize that our current situation is not final but merely provisional. Our company should recover its attitude of members of the first Christian communities. They all lived to be resurrected just like Jesus When they met, they met, they saw, their greeting was "Christ is risen" because they had made this event a great certainty: He is indeed the Savior of the world, all the rest before Jesus is relative. Today more than ever, we must jealously guard our faith and with it, but keep the inner joy that the sin bearer of gloom and darkness, would tear all the time. St. Paul, in today's second reading urges us: "Look at the things above and not those of the earth." So do not stop today, Easter Sunday, what we started and lived for the whole of Lent, during which time a little 'we have tried to abandon the things of the earth and turn our hearts toward heaven, the home to which we are all going. The Lenten journey today, a day of Easter comes to an end not because we always look to it and refer to participate worthily in the mystery of the Resurrection of Jesus continue to sow and in the meantime, we also collect the fruits that come so far from what we have sown. Only then can we continue to be the image of the Risen Christ, the only way to bring joy and peace, just as Jesus did, to those who still do not have it.

Free Speech For Father's 60th Birthday
Karol Wojtyla? "A free man
"If you want to know something about my life ask him: he knows better than me." So he used to joke John Paul II giving a priest among his old friends lean and lanky. He is the first major biography of Karol Wojtyla: Father Adam Boniecki, director of Tygodnik Powszechny, the Polish Catholic weekly. smiles When I remember trying to hide his emotion. Boniecki has reconstructed the events of his more famous compatriot day to day, from birth until his election as Pope on October 16, 1978. A detailed chronicle and meticulous, a real "calendar of the life of Karol Wojtyla," as the title of the book, translated into English. "I did it to dispel the many legends that began to circulate on the Polish Pope, completely fictional stories about that had been engaged, no, he was married but was widowed, had gone underground army to fight the Nazis, and so invented ...», Don Adam explains that had the approval of Pope John Paul II for the his work.
Karol Wojtyla had known the first time in 1971, Catholic University of Lublin, where the then Cardinal of Krakow lectured on Ethics. "He was much loved by our students because, unlike many teachers, it was a simple person, the hand that gave absolutely no airs - it tells -. And this despite the fact that his lectures on philosophy were far from easy. " You
a portrait by no means hagiographic track what the former student. "The first thing that struck me about him was his humor. He was a guy who loved to joke, always had a joke ready and this was not common among the teachers of the time. " Dig in memory, laughs, then shakes his head wrapped in a cloud of smoke. No, this can not be written ... And why? Here is the anecdote. At a meeting of priests was one who never stopped talking and making noise. Cardinal Wojtyla amiably chided him: "If you continue to disturb you'll end up in purgatory." And the other, irreverent, "Yes, and I know what I'll do in purgatory read his texts of philosophy." Some after this priest died and when John Paul II went to bless the grave did not hold back: "Poor thing, and now in the afterlife the study will touch my book" Act and person "."
Boniecki The young priest was assigned by the archbishop of Krakow at the campus ministry. A fantastic and challenging work, carried out in close contact with Wojtyla. During Holy Week, as today in the church of Sant'Anna hundreds of students attend the retreat. "Wojtyla came and started as a simple priest in the confessional, in black cassock. And even clandestine meetings with the university he appeared in an informal way, with great freedom and spontaneity. Maybe he's right here its sanctity, "he says as if reflected to himself. Don Adam does not agree with the portraits of the Polish Pope who like Superman began to be popular in recent years after his death. "Of course - he added - was a man of great courage. But it gave no see. Once I submitted the issue of summer camps with young people (such meetings were banned by the communist regime, ed.) I had heard that the SB, the secret services, were determined to stamp out the phenomenon. What happens if we find out? asked the archbishop. And I mean the authorities will make some 'noise, then force us to pay a fine for violation of the rules on public meetings. And he, with relaxed air: okay, it means that we will pay, our work is priceless. "
One of the first decisions taken by John Paul II, newly elected Pope, was to call his father to Rome to direct Boniecki L'Osservatore Romano in Polish. Recently from the archives of the communist secret services it turned out that Don Adam, considered one of the confidants of the Pope, the Polish priest was more guarded. They tried in every way for enlisted as a collaborator, but failed. "I only needed a glance to understand the real intentions of many people mellifluous and mean that they invited me to lunch to learn the secrets of the Vatican. I ate, drank and let them dry, " says slyly. But John Paul II was aware of these attempts? "Yes, but does not care that much. He had an incredible instinct, learned in many years under the regime in Poland. And then he had nothing to hide: that he thought he said it publicly, at the risk of appearing rude and undiplomatic. Even here, indeed, it appears that his holiness, that of an extraordinary man to live a normal life and the difficulties of life. " Luigi

" Luigi
