No caravans to bureaucratic order not to lose confidence in charities
In this period, before the tax return, request more insistent that everyone is receiving the donation of 5 x one thousand associations, sometimes local and international non-profit and often "profit." Frequently then, we are encouraged to make contributions to charities, real or fake, by a large amount bulletins that we receive in the mail box of our homes. Coupons already compiled and ready to pay donations for starving children in Africa, for those deaf or Italian for those orphans who live in Eastern Europe supported by voluntary associations. Commendable job, why, when they carry out for purposes of pure solidarity, at least questionable if done with different purposes. In any case we will take these calls daily with an action that, after years of routine movements of this kind, made without thinking twice, has become ritual. The danger is that these gestures are considered routine, to the indifference of everyday life, actions similar to those that are made by pouring in the offering basket during Sunday mass or donating it to the unfortunate placed at the traffic lights. Gestures made, often without giving due weight to what it really involves the action we are going to do, what our contribution, although modest, results for the lives of some people. But pausing to read and understand the messages we receive in the mailbox by these unions of volunteers, the vast majority of us are affected in human sensitivity by the words and dramatic pictures that these are really unfortunate, but with the suspicion of 'deception and hope that this money really come to the unfortunate children depicted, is willing to risk their sum payable and shall ensure that their charity reaches its destination. The doubt is that most of the time this money will serve mainly to keep up expensive facilities rather than making things easier for children to play together in the images we receive bulletins. Therefore we believe that in this area have been done in a tangible and strict regulation, which ensures that people in good faith to decide to donate even small contributions to the association really engaged in social work. Without surprises. Why come to discover that their money was spent exclusively, as sometimes happens, to keep up caravans bureaucratic acts only to ostentation of their Heads would lose, in addition to money, especially confidence in the whole volunteer system.
