For some 'time I dedicate myself to the mess in the kitchen and I have recently developed two loves: green smoothies and green juices. Both contain leafy greens and other vegetables or fruit are a great way to start a day alkalinization.

Why green? green leafy vegetables help maintain a proper acid-base balance. The ingestion of too many acidifying foods can cause inflammation and lead to constantly feel a sense of fatigue. Some acidifying foods that most of us habitually consume are: sugar, meat, dairy products, coffee and eggs. For those who want to continue to eat these foods (not recommended for other reasons, ethical and healthy) foods should be alkaline very important. Some of these foods are: mandarin, mango, lentils, grapefruit, green leafy vegetables. Even vegans can have an unbalanced ratio acid-base balance, because oily fruit, fries, peas, soybeans and other plant foods are acidifying. A smoothie or green juice is a delicious way to ensure good health.

juice or smoothie? This is the dilemma. Some, such as V. Boutenko, argue that the mixture contains more fiber and is therefore a most complete food. According to other authors instead assume enough fiber to the other elements to nourish and consumed without straining the digestive juice is ideal. In that case the digestion is simpler and the precious vitamins are immediately absorbed by the body. My personal solution to the enigmatic question is a smoothie in the morning and a juice in the afternoon.

Verde in! After a month of daily consumption Green I had the impression to feel less irritable and with much more mental clarity. I do not know if there is a scientific explanation or just suggestion, but it works and has also come good humor. Here are a couple of my favorite recipes:

's Green Smoothie Recipe:
-1 fuji apple (or 1 / 2 apple normal)
handful of spinach
-1 -1 -1
pinch of cinnamon small piece of ginger
-2
almond-water as needed

Blend and transfer to a glass!

's Green Juice Recipe: apple
-1 -1 -1 handful pear
alfalfa sprouts
handful of spinach
-1 -1 -2
bulb of fennel stalks of celery -1
piece of ginger, spirulina powder
-sparkling water


Centrifuge the first seven ingredients. Filter, if necessary, mix spirulina and add sparkling water. It would be better to drink it immediately because enzymes tend to deteriorate.
